Since my mum’s not feeling well, I’ve been the one answering the phone. These calls were from solar companies, and their number looked like a mobile, which is so frustrating. Honestly, I reckon the whole withheld number thing needs rethinking. Why can’t doctors and other genuine callers show their real numbers? Then we’d know who’s calling and could return their calls if needed. It should be up to us. I’ve friends who call with hidden numbers and get annoyed when I don’t answer. I just tell them to leave their number so I can see who’s calling, otherwise, I just ignore the call. It’s really that simple.
