Honestly, I reckon it’s high time we rethought the whole system of withheld numbers. What’s the harm in sharing contact details for doctors and other reputable services? At least that way, we’d know who’s on the line and could choose whether or not to call back. It surely beats being bombarded by calls from people hiding their numbers. Some of my mates use withheld numbers, and they get quite upset if I don’t answer when they ring! I always tell them: just leave your number, and I'll recognise it when I see it, otherwise, I’ll have to ignore those calls. It’s straightforward enough!
