Some bloke rang me saying he was from “Protect” or something like that. He asked for my birthday, saying since I’m a pensioner I could get a discount on my boiler insurance. He said it’d cover heating, plumbing and all that. Claimed I’d save about £70 a year. Then he asked which bank I used but didn’t want my account number. I just hung up after that.
