Received an unsolicited call earlier tonight, promptly ended the call and proceeded to conduct a quick online search on the number. Came across some intriguing remarks. From now on, I have decided not to answer such calls.

In recent weeks, we have received phone calls on four separate occasions. Tonight, a gentleman informed us that in order to remove our names from the register, we would have to pay £99. Otherwise, he claimed we would be charged a staggering amount between £6 and £700. I questioned him when we supposedly entered into this holiday agreement, to which he falsely stated it was three and a half years ago. This untruthful statement made it evident that it was indeed a scam. I informed him of this deceitful ploy. Sadly, my husband is suffering from leukaemia and has limited time left to live, therefore he cannot take any vacations in any case.

Got a call today, picked up straight away and then it just went silent. Yesterday I got a voicemail supposedly from a James Blunt claiming to be with the Time Share Council about Consumer Rights and stuff. Didn’t note the number back then but it said to ring 0800 024 3101. Had a quick look at their site but found it pretty sparse, no address listed, just a couple of links. Didn’t think much of it at the time. After seeing the other comments here, I’m guessing today’s call was from that same number as yesterday.
