Just got the BT 8500 call blocker and it's brilliant! Scammers and dodgy numbers can’t get past it at all. You just see a missed call from them but your actual phone never rings. Honestly, I’d recommend this phone to anyone fed up with nuisance calls.

BT keeps pushing their blocker phones on us, but nothing seems to change with these fraudsters hassling customers everyday. We pay a fortune for our broadband and phone line as it is, it’s about time the police and providers actually did something about these pests instead of making us buy more useless gadgets.

I received two calls from this number earlier today. I chose not to pick up, but managed to trace the number using the 1471 service afterwards.

I got a call from some lot saying they're from a firm named Switch It, trying their luck gettin me to change my phone provider to them. My number's been on the TPA list for yonks, so they're definitely breaking the rules. They must be using some public list that doesn't bother to take off numbers on the TPA register, which is another rule they’re ignoring. I've already flagged it to the TPA.

Received a call earlier today from someone with an Asian accent. When I picked up, they inquired about my identity. I replied with, "You rang me, so it's only fair you share who you are," and just like that, they abruptly disconnected the call. Quite odd, really!
