Got a call from someone claiming to be with British Gas. Played along for a bit until they started asking for my sort code. Told them no way am I giving that out and then just ended the call.

This number rang me today and the person said they were from BT Openreach, telling me someone abroad was using my internet for dodgy stuff. When I said I wasn’t with BT, they got a bit aggressive. I just ended the call. Watch out, it’s a scam!

I got a call saying there was something wrong with my internet connection, but I actually have one. Then they got really rude with me, felt like a total scam.
