Got a call from a woman claiming she needed to talk about my EE account, but it definitely didn’t seem legit.

I got a call from a recorded female voice claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying my phone line was about to be cut off that day. She asked me to press one or something. I just hung up and didn't bother with the other calls after that. I also tried blocking the number, but it seems like it didn’t work.

I received a rather dubious phone call from BT claiming that my internet connection had been breached. They requested that I confirm some of my personal information to help 'secure' my account. It all seemed rather fishy, to say the least.

Got a robocall saying they wanted £600 off my visa card, told me to press 1. I just ended the call straight away, dodgy as hell.

Got a robo call claiming to be from Visa Secure saying there was a £600 transaction on my credit card. It told me to press one if I didn’t know about the charge. Obviously I didn’t press anything - figured it would just connect me to some overpriced premium number. After a short pause, the call just ended on its own.

I got a call saying that £600 had just been taken from my account and to press 1 if that was correct. When I did, a woman with an accent answered claiming she was from BT, but I wasn’t convinced so I ended the call. Then I rang my bank, and they confirmed it was a scam trying to steal my bank info.
