I've received numerous calls from this lot. Honestly, they're quite dodgy right from the outset. They kick off with the line, “I’m calling from the NHS,” but let me tell you, they are absolutely not affiliated with the NHS in any way. They misuse the name to give off a vibe of legitimacy, trying to make folks feel all warm and fuzzy. Best to steer well clear of them. If you happen to get one of their calls, I’d recommend you challenge them with, “Which department of the NHS are you with, exactly?” When I posed that question, the poor woman on the other end seemed utterly flummoxed.
