I received a rather dodgy phone call from a bloke with an Indian accent, who wanted to chat about some reference telephone lines. I told him I wasn't interested in talking to cold callers, and he promptly hung up. Strangely, not long after that, I got another call from an international number that I decided to reject. I reckon it’s probably the same crowd trying their luck. They’ve called me multiple times now. So, being curious, I tried ringing back the original number, 01522 751627, but to my surprise, it wasn’t recognised at all. I suspect this is all part of a scam aimed at either prising personal information out of you, getting hold of your money, or tricking you into ringing back a premium-rate number without you being aware. Best to stay vigilant!

Got two calls from them today about energy deals. When I told the bloke to stop calling me, he begged me to hear him out!! The line was really bad and he just kept pushing, so I had to hang up.
