I work answering calls for a business, not a personal phone. A bloke called asking me if I could send him £1000. I told him this is a company number and to stop messing about. Then he tries again, saying he'll give me £1000. I wasn’t having any of it, so I said no way. After that, he said something really inappropriate, like he wanted me to do some sort of sexual favour for the cash! It was absolutely disgusting. Even if it's some kind of scam, it’s just nasty.

This 012545878451 number keeps ringing me non stop. They actually quote a proper TalkTalk account number now, sounds legit at first. But the moment I ask them for a real TalkTalk number to verify, they start to dodge the question. They say they’ll only provide a contact number after they've “cleared all viruses” from my PC. Then they straight up say if I’m not gonna accept their help, I can just hang up ‘cause they couldn’t care less. Quite a cheeky scam if you ask me.

An Indian guy called me, claiming my computer had a virus. Since I’m with Talktalk, I can see how someone not so cautious might actually believe this rubbish.

I've been getting calls from different numbers, and every time I block one, another pops up soon after. I just keep blocking them, hoping they'll stop eventually.

This bloke claimed he was with TalkTalk’s tech support and said there was a problem with my internet. He asked me to switch my computer on, but I told him I don’t even have one. Suddenly, he got all annoyed, told me to "shut up," and just hung up on me.

No clue who it was, but my guess is some bloke pretending to be from TalkTalk - and I’m not even with them! I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number using BT Protect, so fingers crossed they don’t ring me up again.

I picked up the phone, but as soon as I did, the caller just disconnected on me!

Got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk saying my computer was infected with a virus. They tried pushing me to let them control my PC remotely. Definitely a nasty phishing attempt.

I asked the person who rang me from talktalk earlier today if they could tell me who else had called me (like the name and time). He just said I shouldn’t be bothered about it. I told him I wasn’t bothered, just wanted an answer to my question. Then he just ended the call, same with the other callers but from different numbers. I don't even have talktalk but they just don’t seem to care...
