Had a call from 01254 569652 earlier today. It was some sort of recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, with an American-sounding voice that was quite robotic. I just let it play for a bit, didn't press any options, then ended the call before it finished. Afterwards, I blocked the number straight away. I wonder if this is one of those UK numbers that’s been ‘piggybacked’ for these scams? I’ve been getting quite a few calls like this from similar numbers over the past three weeks or so.
