Indeed, it pertains to some funds reserved in relation to a car crash we supposedly had a stake in. The only snag, of course, is that we haven’t actually been involved in any such incident.

I got a ring from them earlier today. They brought up the crash I was in, and since my missus bumped another car at some lights not long ago (just a slow tap, maybe 3 mph), I figured it might be for real. But when they went on about how I could get compensation for the "aches and pains" from the other driver’s insurer, I had to let the guy know he was talking rubbish before I slammed the phone down.

Got a call from them today, they just said something about an "outbound exchange". When I asked why they were ringing, they wouldn't give me any details.

They just rang me from 3500 and I ended up having to go over some stuff about a crash I had a while back. Luckily no accidents in recent years (knock on wood).

I've been getting calls from this place several times a day, like 3 or 4 times easily. The first time I picked up, they said something about some 'big cash waiting for me'... I went along with it but they couldn’t give me any real info. Now I just block them out, but last night I left them listening to a tennis match on the radio - they weren’t too happy and hung up with a curse. Still, that hasn’t stopped them. I've had three calls from them just today!

It’s one of those claims management firms just trying to squeeze money out of people. Totally annoying cold calls that you don’t want.

Even if you don’t have a proper claim, they’ll still ring you because they’ve snapped up numbers from some dodgy company. They don’t actually know anything about any accident you might have had, it’s just a random list they bought somewhere.

I’ve put them on the TPS list now.
