Some bloke with a funny accent said he was ringin' from the NHS, sayin’ he had free medical advice since they were gonna be near my place soon. I let him go on for a bit just to annoy him and waste his time. When he asked for my bank details, I immediately hung up. He tried callin’ me two more times after that, but I just told him to send stuff by post, 'cos it felt dodgy. Second time he rang, I didn't even bother answering.

I didn’t recognise the number so I just let it go to voicemail since I was tied up. They didn’t leave any message, so I guess it wasn’t anything urgent. I’ve blocked it now.

I looked up the firm linked to this number and found a post on their site saying even though they handle loads of phone lines, they don’t do any cold calling or telemarketing at all. They reckon it’s probably some kind of scam, maybe from abroad. The call showed up as from Blackburn so I picked up, thinking it was genuine since I live there. When no one spoke, I stayed on the line but then the call just got disconnected. I’m going to block this one plus another from Preston that called me yesterday.
