That’s when it dawned on me that this might be some sort of scam aimed at fishing for my banking information, so I promptly ended the conversation. Best to stay cautious, I reckon!

I had a call the other day from this number, and the individual sounded like they were from Lancashire. They claimed to be representing a company called HYA. When I inquired about what HYA actually was, they mentioned it had to do with processing card payments. Once I politely declined their services, the caller weirdly pressed me, asking, "But why not?" At that point, I started to suspect it might be a scam aimed at fishing for my bank information, so I decided to end the call right then and there.
