They messaged me first, claiming they were from Hipo, telling me my application had been accepted and that they'd ring me from this number. When they called, I checked the number on Google and they just ended the call. I never applied for anything. Definitely a scam.

I received a call from this number, and they seemed to go on a bit regarding the details. They mentioned sending some documents via courier and inquired about when I would be home. I spoke to someone named Michael during the conversation. I felt rather wary about the whole thing, so I told them I’d need to discuss it with my husband first. Today, on the 3rd of August 2017, I received a rather dubious call at precisely 11:14 AM. The individual on the line claimed to be reaching out regarding a pension assessment. When I probed him about his identity and the company he represented, he became noticeably agitated and began speaking in a rather unprofessional manner. His irritation grew as I persisted in questioning his credibility, which raised significant red flags for me. Realising that this chap was far from legitimate, I decided to cut the conversation short and firmly instructed him to refrain from calling again. I even hinted at involving the authorities. At that point, he resorted to shouting profanities, and I didn't hold back in throwing a few back at him before hanging up. So, take heed of this caller-he's rather insistent and persistent. Stand your ground if you happen to find yourself on the receiving end of such an unwelcome call!

Someone called saying they were from Smart Review offering a free pension check or something. They claimed it was approved by the FSA and all that. Then they tried to arrange for a courier to come over so I could sign some form allowing the review. I told them I wasn’t interested, and they got a bit annoyed, asking why I wasn’t keen. I just said no service is ever truly free and hung up.

I've had around 25 calls from this number at all sorts of odd hours. Whenever I pick up, I can hear someone on the other end but they just hang up after a moment. Got a call from someone saying they were from QUADROS FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LIMITED, said they were pension reviewers. Asked for my pension info, said they were appointed by the Government and licensed by the FSA. They also claimed to have loads of experience, but I checked Companies House and they’ve only been running for 9 months. The directors have names that sound foreign, but I don’t want to jump to conclusions based on that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Smart Pensions, chatting about some government review on pensions that aren’t doing well. He wanted to know if my company pension was above 20k. I received a call concerning my pension, where the caller claimed that the financial ombudsman is reviewing my case to ensure I’m receiving the correct pension amount. They mentioned a survey and instructed me to dial another number to request my SERPS statement. They promised to ring me back afterwards. It seems they’ll require my National Insurance number and likely, my date of birth and address too. I'm convinced this is a scam.

I reckon these calls, coming from different numbers, are from someone who's gotten a bit annoyed with me for constantly asking why he or his firm keep ringing me instead of just answering a few simple questions. Now he just babbles nonsense and hangs up straight away. Lately, when I get a moment, I've started asking for the company's registration number before I consider answering anything. This has led to the line being cut off twice already, so it seems to avoid a lot of hassle.

I’m relieved to have a call blocker on my home phone. I decided to return the call to this number, and I was met with a recorded message from someone with an American or Canadian twang saying, “Your call is very significant to us.
