Got a call from someone saying they were from the 'Energy Advice Centre' but felt off - definitely a scam trying to trick me.

Picked up the call and there was a pause before a voice said, “Hello, this is Emma from your energy efficiency team. Are you the homeowner by any chance?” I said, “I’m not sure.” Then they just repeated the same spiel again. Smells like a scam to me.

I wasn't able to catch the call at the time, but since I was anticipating a call from my insurance provider, I decided to ring back. To my surprise, it turned out to be an energy company. Completely unnecessary! I've gone ahead and blocked the number.
