This number rang me once, a bloke with a Scottish accent claiming to offer mortgage advice. When I mentioned I didn’t have a mortgage, he just went "oh right, bye" and ended the call. Happened on 17/03/2016 around 1:25pm.

I've had calls from this number a few times before, and just today it rang me around 1pm. I tried calling it back later on in the evening, but all I heard was some automated message saying 'goodbye' with no mention of any firm or anything else. It's a bit worrying because I'm on the TPS and my number's ex-directory, so I don't understand how they're getting past those. From what I can tell, it seems to be a Blackburn area code.

This morning I got called 3 times by this same number. Each time, I could hear people chatting in the background but the moment I answered and said hello, the call just ended. I tried doing 1471 and all I got was a recorded message saying there was no one to take my call. So annoying!

I got a call once, and when I picked up it was a bloke with a Scottish accent. Sadly, my signal dropped and I got cut off. I tried ringing back, but it just went straight to voicemail with some automated American woman saying "no one is available to take your call."

I picked up the call but all I heard was silence. I hung on for a little while hoping someone might say something but nope, nothing. Kinda makes me think it’s one of those scam calls. Sometimes I get creeped out that these people might just be trying to figure out if anyone's actually around.
