I received a rather dubious call claiming to be about an accident I supposedly experienced in the past couple of years! What’s rather clever about it is the fact that I reside in the 01254 area code, which made it seem like a genuine local landline call-very crafty indeed. When I returned the call, a rather charming chap named Jordan (with a proper Scouse accent, I might add) picked up. I inquired about the purpose of the call, and he mentioned it was regarding an accident, though he couldn't furnish any specific details. I was almost tempted to jokingly mention the aircraft incident I had where the ground crew forgot to refuel, but I held my tongue this time. Perhaps I’ll regale them with that story on the next attempt, as I requested my number to be taken off their database, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they ring me again. - Caller: Some sort of claims company.
