Just a heads up about that number. You'd think a finance firm would sound a bit more professional, but they didn't come across that way at all. Plus, they never even asked to speak to anyone specific, which seemed odd.

Got a call on our home phone from someone looking for my husband, but they used his nickname which struck me as odd. They claimed to be from a financial firm. It seemed unprofessional not to use his full name, so when I asked about it, they said they'd spoken to him several times on his mobile. Thing is, he only has one main mobile number. I rang him up to check and he said he'd never had calls from them - sounded dodgy to us. I decided to report it to the police just to be safe. Still can't figure out how they knew his nickname or even our landline number.
