They rang me earlier today, said they were from this company but the number showed as 01254 470594. I'm on the TPS list too! The guy was quite polite but I refused the call, also never signed up or asked for them to get in touch or filled out anything requesting a call.

Got a call from some bloke claiming I had a pension fund from ages ago. He sounded like he barely knew what he was talking about, couldn’t even say ‘pension’ right. Didn’t trust it one bit, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I had a rather too affable chap named "Jonathon" ring me the other day, insisting he was reaching out for Aviva pensions. He then proceeded to say he was working on behalf of an Independent Financial Advisor to discuss a pension review. Neither of these statements seemed truthful. It's possible I've stumbled upon some scam artists, or perhaps just a wayward employee, as when I checked the number through 1471, he simply referred to himself as "Independent Pension Advisors." The caller was, as mentioned, Jonathon. Quite the dubious encounter!
