I had boiler insurance with 247 but then got a new boiler fitted with a 10 year warranty so I cancelled the 247 policy since it wasnt needed anymore. Since then ive had about 20 calls off them asking why I cancelled. Would say avoid them totally.

24/7 home assistance. The only thing you really need help with is dodging their calls. We had their service for 3 years, but when I called last week, they told me I needed a brand new boiler. Turns out it was a simple fix, but they try to convince you that only a new boiler will do, or else you’re not covered. I ended up cancelling my contract and now they just won’t stop ringing me.

Since I wrote my initial review about 24/7 back on the 5th of December, they’ve been ringing me non-stop even though I’ve blocked them so their calls don’t go through. I already told them I’d never use their services again and asked them to stop calling. Here’s their call log since 29th November 2019: 29/11 - two calls 4/12 - one call 5/12 - one call 9/12 - two calls 10/12 - one call 12/12 - one call 13/12 - two calls 16/12 - two calls 17/12 - one call 18/12 - one call 20/12 - one call 21/12 - one call That’s 16 calls in total - proper nuisances. Would definitely steer clear!!!

01254 460 054 rang me while I was working - I think it’s a firm called 24/7 that covered my boiler last year. I didn’t renew with them as the price shot up by 50%. They actually tried to sell me a new boiler, fitted for free with a yearly service included - sounded too good to be true, so I stood firm and told them I use someone else. They kept ringing me every day, sometimes twice a day, so I blocked the number. Even now, they still keep calling, but it goes straight to my blocked calls. Avoid them if you can - they’re annoying, probably dodgy, and not worth your time.

24/7 Home Rescue keeps ringing me non stop. My contract ended back in October but they still took money from my account in November. Then today, they called again asking why I cancelled. When I said I wasn’t happy with the service or their constant calls, the 24/7 bloke suddenly offered me a free boiler and free fitting to try and keep me since they said I’d been with them ages?? Feels really dodgy to me. I’d only been with them for a year.

I've come to the conclusion that 24/7 is nothing but a dodgy operation. If you're in a similar predicament, I'd recommend reaching out to your bank. I started the application process for a policy, but before I knew it, two weeks had gone by, and I noticed a direct debit pulled from my account. I quickly contacted my bank about it, and thankfully, they were able to reverse the charge and put an end to the direct debit.

I've had to block them on my mobile as they've now decided to ring my home phone incessantly. It all started a couple of years back when I arranged for 24/7 to come and look at my boiler. They took one glance at it and flat-out refused to carry out any repairs due to its age-over eleven years, apparently made it obsolete in their eyes. After they turned me down, I promptly terminated my service agreement with them. Yet, here we are, with them ringing me every few months like clockwork. These days, I simply don't pick up!

the reviews really say everything - ive noticed they also use phone numbers ending in 247, seems like they swap numbers often so folks cant identify the caller - even the technicians who have worked there are always moaning about them - the trustpilot ratings seem alright but thats coz they probably pay for fake ones, sometimes theres more positive reviews than actual tech workers they have - the techs are pushed to make problems deliberately - awful company no clue how they’re still open must be some proper scammers.

I've just received another irritating call from this number, which hangs up as soon as I answer. It's hardly a shocker that it’s the 24/7 Home Rescue crowd making a nuisance of themselves once more. As I've mentioned before, I strongly recommend steering clear of their policies. They seem to operate under the impression that the direct debit information provided for a single service, like a boiler check, can be repurposed for additional services that I'd rather not have-despite having clearly expressed my desire to cancel over the phone. I'm genuinely astonished that Moneysupermarket continues to list them for boiler servicing this year. In my experience, 24/7 employs rather dubious tactics. They might deliver what's advertised, but there's always a catch lurking in the fine print that can significantly inflate costs, as I found out the hard way.

This number just rang me and I told them flat out that we ended our contract with them more than a year ago because they were rubbish. Yet, they keep pestering us to come back. I've had enough now and even warned them I’d take Legal steps if they don't remove our info from their system. Honestly, they’re a right pain in the neck! I’m currently tied into a contract with this firm, and by the sounds of it, I've been quite fortunate not to have had the need to contact them just yet. My agreement is set to run out in September, and since I settled the full year’s fee in advance, I suspect they got in touch with me following the cancellation of my direct debit yesterday. Despite having paid for the year upfront, they proceeded to send me details for a month-to-month rolling contract. At the time, I raised my concerns, and they reassured me it was nothing to worry about. However, now that my direct debit is off, I’ve informed my bank to deny any attempts from this company to reactivate it.

24 7 home rescue are a terrible company. They left me and my disabled husband without any heating or hot water for 3 weeks. The engineer left water pouring out of the boiler, flooding through the floor into our kitchen. Then they said we needed a new boiler after those so-called experts butchered the job. I’d never use them again. If you’re considering this company, just don’t bother 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Just now I answered and there was someone there, seemed surprised I actually answered. He mumbled something I couldn’t quite catch but asked why I’d cancelled my policy. I had one with them back in 2017 but ended it after a few months (which was a nightmare, they still took 3 payments even after I cancelled). I told him to stop calling me as I’m not interested.

The small print says they only cover boilers based on their age, so if it's older than 7 years, the cover is basically useless. When I pressed them for specifics, they claimed everything was fine! It's a non-stop circus, and honestly, they’re nothing but a bunch of con artists. 24/T home rescue is a rip off. I wouldnt recommend them for insurance. They only cover the call out fee, nothing else. You might be better off just keeping the cash and paying the call out charge yourself.

If you’re considering getting insurance from them, make sure to check how old your central heating boiler is. Mine was over 7 years old and unfortunately, they don’t cover parts for boilers that age. Ended up having to get the manufacturer's engineer to come out, which cost me £200!
