Pensions Service Smart Review is a waste of time if you’re hoping to ring them back - they’ve got one of those dial-out only lines, which I didn’t even know still existed. Their spiel is all about reviewing your pension, then they send someone over to photocopy your papers, but what comes next? I reckon it’s best to steer clear of this, because honestly, you might as well handle your pension review on your own.

I picked up and got a voicemail from something called Contact Innovations (not sure who they are) saying no one was around to answer and that they'd ring me back. Well, they can keep trying because I've blocked the number now!

My mum got a call from this number, and they were asking for my dad, who sadly passed away two years ago. When she questioned who they were, they said they'd call again. Later, she tried calling them back, but the phone just went dead - no ring, nothing at all. If this number pops up on your phone, I'd seriously advise against sharing any personal info. And if you get a missed call from them, don’t bother ringing back - better to just block and ignore!
