I got a call from this number out of the blue, wasnt expecting anything. When I tried ringing it back, it just said it couldnt connect. Not sure if its spam or some dodgy call centre?

Just got a call a short while back. After a brief silence, an automated voice warned me about a dodgy charge of £600 on my Visa Mastercard supposedly made 15 minutes earlier. Thing is, I don’t even own a Visa Mastercard! I’ve been getting these calls for a while now, and curiously, the amount is always exactly £600 - really odd. What gives them away as scammers is the fact they never try to verify who I am. It’s hilarious how unprofessional these lowlifes are.
