My phone flagged this number as a possible scam, yet I decided to pick up the call out of curiosity. The person on the other end went on about something called an “earing test,” which left me completely baffled. I haven’t a clue what they were rambling on about!

I got a call from a really courteous woman checking if I wanted a hearing test. I mentioned I'd already had one not too long ago and everything turned out fine. I guess it might help others, but I could tell where it was headed with me. Seems like they’re saying if there’s a claim, they'll handle it but want a cut of whatever compensation you might get.

Someone rang me and wanted to speak to a person who apparently had this number some five years back.

Weirdly enough, I received a call from them but all I got was an automated voice telling me no one was around to take my call. Pretty odd if you ask me.

So, I told them to take my details off their database, right? Instead of being helpful, they got really cheeky and started asking if I was some kind of mechanic and what I'd do if the car had issues. I said yeah, I'm a mechanic and I'd sort it out myself. Then they just went all patronising, questioning what kind of mechanic I was and even doubted me. Proper annoying!
