I've just had a rather alarming recorded message purporting to be from HMRC, demanding that I ring them back immediately. They insisted I press 1 to evade an arrest warrant supposedly linked to my name. It’s glaringly clear this is a scam!

Got one of those scam calls yet again!

Got a call from someone saying they were with HRME and that I owed back taxes. They told me to hit 1 to talk to an advisor, and if I didn’t, they said a warrant would be put out and I’d get arrested. I just ended the call straight away.

I saw a missed call and decided to ring back. An automated message came on, saying it was Lotto Social and that I’d be connected to the next free operator. I hung up pretty quick, not really interested in playing the lottery right now.

Got this call today saying my internet would be cut off unless I pressed 1. Felt like such a dodgy scam, like they were just trying to trick the gullible folks. Don’t press anything, it’s just a load of rubbish trying to rob you.
