They never actually said what firm they were calling on behalf of, just kept pestering me about why I wouldn’t give my details. After a bit, she got a bit rude and then just dropped the call.

Got a call from a lady with a heavy Asian accent trying to sell me some incredible Vodafone deal. I asked where she got my number and she just didn’t get it, so she handed me over to a bloke who spoke a bit clearer. I asked if he knew about the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), and he said no. When I told him to take my number off their list, he said he wasn’t allowed. The call said it was from Rotherham but not on the actual number provided. Both people spoke really poor English, sounded like they were from India or Pakistan. Honestly, it felt like a total scam to me!
