Got a call from some guy with an Indian accent, wasn't really clear what he was selling. Pretty sure it's a scam though.

I picked up the phone but there was this weird low buzzing noise, and after about 2 and a half mins of hearing it, I actually ended up having a bit of an accident - good thing I usually take calls while on the loo, so the first time wasn't too bad. But the second time it happened, I was on the bus and that was proper embarrassing!

Annoying lot keep barging into my personal space. Best steer clear.

They mentioned something like crown-windows or whatever. I looked them up on the spot and their site wasnt secure at all. When I told the bloke I wasnt too keen on them coming round, he just said alright and ended the call. Funny thing is, he kept thinking I was married but had no clue about my partner who actually co-owns the place and all the paperwork is in his name. I'd be careful about trusting what they say.

Received a call from Crown Ltd, apparently they were conducting energy efficiency tests in "my area." The chap on the line mentioned my specific address and wanted to verify whether I was the current proprietor of the property. I was somewhat sceptical and probed further into the purpose of the call. He informed me they were assessing the energy efficacy of glazing. It turned out to be nothing more than a pushy sales tactic for double glazing!

A friendly young woman claiming to be doing a government survey called about our windows. She mentioned someone was nearby checking how well windows keep heat in. She said if I wanted a proper report on heat loss, someone could come out and do it. She asked if Niall could call to set it up. I kinda said yes for now. That was the end of it.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent saying he was from First Line Banking or something similar. He asked if I still owned a home, but when I told him I’d never owned one, he just ended the call. Could hear voices in the background but it didn’t sound like a proper call centre. Definitely blocking this number.

The red flag was when they asked for Mr followed by my first name, not my last name! It was an Asian lady on the line. I could hear chatter in the back, sounded just like an Asian call centre, all voices Asian. When I told them I was out and I’d leave a message, they just cut off. Could be a call centre using a Blackburn number or maybe they’re spreading into England now. Either way, blocked.
