Honestly, I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise - they’re probably just scammers.

I received a rather unsolicited call regarding an energy survey. As soon as I mentioned that I wasn't the property owner, their interest seemed to fizzle out. Quite relieved they decided to hang up and spare me further hassle!

I answered the phone on my mobile and asked what it was regarding because they were speaking so fast. It seemed to be about some lottery. The caller was really rude and when I pushed back, they just hung up on me. Best to just avoid these calls completely!
