I’ve been receiving calls from various numbers that are quite similar, and they seem to be pushing some sort of cost-sharing scheme. I reckon they’re all linked to the same dodgy call centre, which undoubtedly has a reputation for scamming unsuspecting folks. Quite concerning, to say the least!

Got a call from an automated voice saying I’ll be charged £200 tonight for some subscription or fees. It didn’t say what exactly I’m being charged for or tell me which company it was. Also, the robot didn’t mention my name or address or anything to confirm who they were talking to.

I got a call from a line that charges shared costs, and noticed there’s loads of similar numbers around, just the last couple of digits changing. Seems like it’s probably the same call centre behind these. No matter who it is, don’t ring back, you’ll end up paying for the call. Why on earth do companies still bother with premium rate numbers for marketing? Surely it’s not just a scam? Has anyone actually got through to a real person from any of those numbers? Maybe one of them is legit, but I didn’t get a voicemail or anything, so there’s no way I’m calling back.

Has anyone picked up when this number rings? I got a couple missed calls from it, maybe it’s one of those call centre robocalls seeing if my number is active? I usually don't pick up when it's not saved and they didn’t leave any voicemail either. I tried searching online for any clues but came up empty. Don’t want to ring back till I figure out who this might be. Anyone got a clue?
