I keep getting calls from numbers starting with 01254 360, drives me mad! I’ve blocked every single one I can but somehow they keep finding ways to ring changing the last digits. It’s so annoying getting these calls constantly.

A couple of comments down show ways to tackle these scams and why just blocking numbers doesn’t always do the trick. It takes a bit of effort to report them, but really, it’s no harder than looking up info and dropping a comment on here. It won’t stop overnight though, as law enforcement isn’t fully aware of how widespread this problem is, so they can’t properly focus on it. You might find your MP’s response a bit (erm) ‘interesting’, but unless everyone who gets these dodgy calls and messages steps up, reports each one, and nags their MP, this mess will just keep going on.

I wasn’t near my phone when they called, so I left it unanswered. I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. I’ve got my phone set up to block suspected scam and fraud calls anyway.

That 01254 prefix is from Blackburn, I reckon. These calls keep coming but with different numbers at the end. 100% a scam, so I just end up blocking every one of them.

Got a few calls today from Blackburn area code 01254, bit odd since I don’t know anyone from there. Heard from three separate numbers: 360813, 366014, and 360459. All sounded dodgy to me so I’ve blocked them and flagged as spam. Not gonna answer again!
