He presented himself as some sort of insurance representative and pried into details about an accident that I’ve absolutely never been involved in. It seemed clear to me he was merely attempting to fish for my banking details. They wanted to speak to one of our engineers, but obviously that’s not their department. Then they tried to reach a different employee, who’s equally not responsible for insurance stuff. I told the caller we’re already covered and not interested.
