When I picked up the phone, there was a brief pause before the caller remained mute, only to cut off the call almost straight away. It baffles me to think that someone would ring me 11 times, only to hang up without uttering a single word. Quite strange, if you ask me!

I received a call from a company claiming to be Crown Properties, stating they wanted to carry out assessments on my windows. Apparently, they need to examine the glass in the flats!

I received a call purportedly from Crown Limited, claiming that a council tax rebate for my postcode would be arriving shortly. The caller then proceeded to request verification of my address, but rather strangely, he cited an old one from eight months ago. I chose not to confirm this and instead inquired why he required my details. His answer was rather ambiguous. When I pressed him on whether he represented the Council, he cheekily replied, "No, do you live in a council house?" which was completely off-topic, considering he was discussing the council tax rebate. At that juncture, I decided enough was enough and ended the call! It seems this is just another attempt to scam unsuspecting individuals.
