I found this caller exceedingly bothersome. While I doubt he was attempting to pull a fast one, he certainly came across as a rather pushy telemarketer. His pitch revolved around replacing windows, of all things! Regardless, it doesn’t sit well with me that he’s got hold of my number.

I got a call trying to sell me new windows. The person was quite courteous, but it was definitely a sales pitch at the end of the day.

They called me up trying to sell a phone upgrade, even though I'd never spoken to them before. As soon as I told them I'd already sorted that out, they just ended the call. Quite rude if you ask me.
