Got a call from someone claiming to be the telephone preference service, saying they could stop all the marketing calls starting the next day. They seemed to know my name, which made me suspicious. I’ve read about scams like this before, so when the person just wouldn’t take no for an answer, I ended the call straight away.

Since around midday, I've been getting calls from this number probably 4 or 5 times an hour. They actually know my name and keep using it. I've told them to stop and just hang up when they call, but they keep coming back. Really annoying!
