got a recorded call saying my free month trial with amazon prime was over and now i'd be charged £39.99 every month. ive never signed up for amazon prime at all. didnt press any buttons cause i thought it sounded dodgy. plus, they didnt even say my name so defo a scam in my opinion.

I got a dodgy automated call claiming something about my Amazon Prime subscription. When I pressed one to chat with an operator, it ended up linking me to a premium rate number. They’ve been using loads of different UK phone numbers too. I lost count, I’m on my 6th call in just the past four hours trying to figure it out. Total scam.
