Picked up the phone, but as soon as I did, the caller just disconnected.

This number rang me up saying they were from ‘Openreach’ and wanted me to test my broadband speed, which I never agreed to. They mentioned sending an engineer round to my place (bit worrying). When I said I’d call back later, they gave me an 0800 number supposedly for Openreach. Feels a bit dodgy to me, but I couldn’t quite figure out how the scam was meant to work - apart from risking some dodgy visitor at the door!

I picked up and said hello but there was silence, then after I spoke again a recorded voice came on and just said goodbye.
