2 yearsI got a call from a bloke with an Indian sub-continent accent, who gave the name Eric and said he was ringing from BT. He told me there had been complaints about slow internet in my area and wanted me to do a speed test. When I showed him the results from my phone, he said that wasn’t enough, so he tried to get me to enter a command on my PC’s command prompt, claiming he was BT by making a password reset message pop up on my phone.
