Got a call from someone claiming to be "Tower Fusion." There was an automated voice telling me to "press 2" if I wanted to stop getting their calls. I recently started using a block service that stops hidden numbers, which was great for cutting out dodgy international calls, but now all these annoying calls are coming from UK numbers instead! I've been registered with the TPS for ages, plus another service recommended by my phone company. I'm seriously unwell and don't need these scammy calls popping up. I NEVER buy anything from cold callers, they just wind me up big time. What more do they want?!

Got a call from National Home Solutions about some government recycling thing, saying I could get up to £2,000 towards new windows. About a week ago, I kept getting calls from some window firm with a recorded message saying it’s the perfect moment to change your double glazing before winter. I really don't get why more folks don't just get a phone that blocks calls! I've got a BT twin set with a call blocker and honestly, it's brilliant - no more pesky interruptions. Having worked as an operations director at BT, I’m aware these spam calls can easily be stopped right at the switch nodes. So why do they still come through?

Got a call from someone trying to peddle stuff again. Isn't being on the telephone preference list supposed to stop this?
