Got a message saying 'you have to update your router and IP address' - don't fall for it, it's a con! Blocked the number 1572 straight away.

Got a call saying my IP got hacked or something and to hit 1 to talk to some tech guy. Definitely smells like a scam to me.

I usually just let it ring off if they don’t leave a voicemail or if I don’t recognise the number. Then, I look up the number once they’re gone. If it’s someone who actually knows me, they’ll probably ring my mobile afterwards. After reading the other comments here, I guess I was spot on not picking up.
