Someone rang claiming to be from BT OpenReach saying there was an issue with my line. I never reported any faults and everything seems fine to me. They then asked to link up with my computer. I told them that sounded risky and ended the call straight away!

It was some claims outfit. I picked up and acted all interested, just letting the bloke keep talking while I sorted some emails. After about 15 mins, I got fed up, ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a call about some crash supposedly involving me and a Ford Focus back in May last year. Thing is, I never had any accident then and I don’t even own a Ford Focus. He said Royal Data or something. Knew my name right away. When I asked who sold my number he got all defensive, saying TPS means a third party must've given it to them. Told him I wasn’t interested and he hit me with “how can you say that when you don’t even know what it’s about?” Then just hung up on me. Typical.

Got a call from someone claiming they had my info about an accident I'd supposedly been in. I told them that was wrong and they must have mixed up, but the woman kept pushing me, asking who might've given them my info. I honestly had no clue, yet she just kept going on even after I kept telling her to remove me from their records. Such a frustrating and unwanted call. Do yourself a favour and don't pick up! This bloke named Sean rang me up with a Liverpool (or maybe Blackpool) sort of accent, saying he was checking up on a car accident I supposedly had a couple years back. Total rubbish, obviously. When I asked where he got my info from, he said something about 'The Insurance Bureau'. Then he just cut off the call once I told him I was googling it. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
