He was super dodgy and didn’t say much that made sense. Definitely felt like a scam, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.Peter7 yearsGot a call from 0441772924990, guy sounded british and kept rambling about lease agreements. Total waste of time.7 yearsTotally a scam, no doubt about it. I got this voicemail from someone with an American accent claiming my internet would be cut off in a day unless I got a supposed “free” new IP address. They kept saying my current one was “compromised by multiple threats” or something like that. I hung up straight away and tried calling back the number they gave but no one picked up. Honestly, if there was really an issue with my net, my provider would have been in touch with me first.7 yearsReceived a call on my landline from someone claiming my IP address was hacked and I had to fix stuff on my PC asap. I just ignored it, jotted down the number and hung up.
