I got a call from a woman with an accent who wanted to speak directly to the business owner. She was pushing some supposedly "free" TV adverts for our medical clinic. When I told her she needed to talk to the Practice Manager, she refused. Then, the very next day, she rang again asking the exact same thing. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Got a call from an Indian woman at my workplace, she rang twice asking straight away for the boss. When I said we don't give out any HR contacts and she should try web support instead, she just brushed it off and kept asking for the MD. A few hours later, she called back, same question again. I asked if she’d called before, but she ignored me and kept pushing for the managing director’s number. Ended up blocking her number.
