9 yearsI had quite an unpleasant experience with this caller. When I mentioned I was signed up to the cold calling register and asked him to delete my details, he started hurling a barrage of foul language at me. It was quite shocking! After I ended the call, he had the audacity to ring back, pretending to represent the Telephone Preference Service, only to launch into more abuse. Honestly, I've never encountered anything like it before. Thankfully, I've just signed up with BT 1572 and managed to block the number. I urge others to stay vigilant!ServiceBT 15729 yearsI recently had an unpleasant run-in with a male caller who disregarded my request to have my details removed, as I’m on the cold calling register. Instead of complying, he launched into a tirade of expletives, hurling abuse at me. After I disconnected the call, he had the audacity to ring back, masquerading as someone from the Telephone Preference Service, only to resume his foul-mouthed outburst. I’ve never encountered such rudeness before! Fortunately, I've just signed up for BT's 1572 service, and I've managed to block this number. Just a word of warning to others-stay vigilant!BT9 yearsI contacted them regarding a refund for some banking fees. The chap became rather aggressive when I suggested he should leave me be.9 yearsI managed to track down this number using 1471, but when I attempted to return the call, it was flagged as unrecognised, both on that service and when I dialled directly. The individual on the line presented himself as a representative from the Government Claims Office, insisting he was reaching out to notify me of an impending cheque to reimburse bank charges deemed unlawful by the Crown Court. When I inquired further, he requested my date of birth “to ensure the cheque landed in the right hands.” I reminded him that he'd already provided my correct name, address, and phone number, questioning what additional personal details were necessary. He then informed me that without my date of birth, the cheque wouldn’t be issued and would instead be sent to some unspecified charity. How incredibly generous of the government, using my own funds, I thought!Government Claims OfficeCrown Court9 yearsI should be receiving a refund for bank fees from the government!
