However, the caller was unusually dogged in pushing the matter. After checking with BT directly, I discovered that I’m not a customer of theirs, which meant I couldn’t receive the kit. What troubled me was how much personal information and card details this individual possessed. I'm left pondering whether this was a scam or if there was some validity to it.
