I got a call from someone claiming they were with BT about blocking nuisance calls. They said since I’m over 65 I qualified for free equipment to stop these calls, and this person was really pushy about it. I spoke to BT myself and they told me I’m not a customer, so there’s no way I could get this kit. What worried me is that the caller seemed to already know loads about me, including some card info. I’m still not sure if it was some kind of scam or legitimate.
