Got a call from a recorded voice claiming to be Amazon, saying they’d accepted a payment over £300 and my iPhone 7 would arrive soon. They asked me to press 1 if I hadn’t made the order. Thing is, I haven't bought anything from Amazon in ages, and there’s no way I’m getting an iPhone! The number was from my local area code too, which made it feel even dodgier. Pretty clear to me it’s just another scam, especially as I doubt Amazon has any offices around this part of England.
