Got a call at 2 in the afternoon on September 10th, 2024. It was one of those automated messages claiming that there were two dodgy transactions on my bank account for £100 and £1000. They told me to press a button on my phone to keep the call going! Obviously, I hung up right away without doing anything. Later, I tried calling the same number from a different phone, and all I got was a nonstop 'number not available' beep. Definitely looks like a scam, so watch out for it!
