this number kept ringing me multiple times over the past few weeks. they say they’re with bt and mention weird activity on my internet, threatening to cut off both my landline and internet. it’s some recorded voice telling me to press 4 if i wanna avoid the disconnection.

I answered the phone and after I said something, this recorded message kicked in. It said it was from Amazon, telling me my account was about to be charged a certain amount. Definitely seemed like a dodgy call to me.
