My nan got a call from someone pretending to be the Police, claiming they were nearby giving free tips on preventing crime. Luckily, I was visiting at the time and since I'm a police officer off duty, I told them to speak with me instead. They quickly hung up on us. Definitely seems like a scam to me. Reported it as fraud straight away.
