Got a ring from this number but my phone just blocked it right away. About a couple of weeks back, I had a bit of a run-in on the road, which I told the cops about, plus my car picked up a few scratches after. Looking at the reviews, makes me think maybe they found my number because of the car damage, but I'm not gonna call back since I don’t recognise the number, even though it’s a local one here in Blackpool.

I received a phone call from a woman who asserted that she was scheduling an appointment to evaluate security and provide alarms for the elderly. When I mentioned that I'm registered on the Telephone Preference Service, she insisted that if I truly were on that list, she wouldn't have reached out to me in the first place. Naturally, I was curious about how they obtained my number since I’m ex-directory. I decided to note down her number and then ended the call.

I got a call from a lady claiming she had details on a new crime reporting method in the Oxford area. She wanted to arrange a time to come round and have a chat about it. Seemed a bit odd to me.

This caller seemed to have knowledge of my last name, yet I chose not to reveal my first name. I inquired about their identity on two separate occasions, but they were evasive and refused to share any information. In the end, they simply ended the call without a word.

A lady rang me up, insisting that I needed to consent to some sort of security system for my mobile. When I started probing for more details, she abruptly disconnected the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call about some accident I supposedly had, they kept trying to push me to claim a minor injury payout that I supposedly 'qualify' for. Thing is, I wasn't hurt at all, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. People really need to realise not everyone’s out to cheat the system.
