I received a voicemail from some dodgy character claiming that I was being investigated for tax fraud. The whole message was recorded, quite a shady tactic if you ask me. They even encouraged me to press 1 to sidestep any legal troubles.

Got a call from someone saying they were with British Gas, telling me my account needed renewing. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with them. Quite strange.

Some bloke rang me saying my cooker, washing machine and fridge warranty had run out and asked for my bank details to sort it. When I told him I don’t even have a fridge or washing machine, he just hung up on me.
