Received a call on 6 April at 18:26; a gentleman greeted me, but I opted not to engage and left the line open for about a quarter of an hour. There were what sounded like office commotion in the backdrop. Earlier that same day, I had a call from someone with a South Asian accent who was aware of my name and a few other bits of information, asking if I could spare five minutes for some queries. I declined and promptly ended the call. The caller ID was marked as unavailable. I've experienced this before - clearly, these are dodgy scam attempts.

I received a call on the 6th of April at around 18:26. A gentleman greeted me, but I didn't say a word and let the phone linger off the hook for approximately fifteen minutes. I could hear some office chatter in the background. Earlier that same day, a bloke with an accent from South Asia rang me up, knew my name, and inquired if I could spare a few minutes to partake in a survey. I politely declined and disconnected the call. The number showed as unavailable. This isn’t my first rodeo with such calls - they’re clearly scams.

This number called me two days in a row, saying something about a TV-related issue at my place. Both times, I just hung up straight away. Heard some foreign accents, too. Really annoying, especially since I’m on the telephone preference service.

I received a call from a woman who had a strong accent, claiming that their records indicate I'm still making payments for some sort of television maintenance that I've no recollection of. I assured her that I don't have any such agreement in place and mentioned that their information seemed to be inaccurate. At that point, she simply ended the call.
